The micro-nano ultra-clean experimental platform project for the first phase of ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center Project is a complete process innovation platform, jointly built by ZJU, as well as three hierarchical governments of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou City, and Xiaoshan District, respectively, for the design and manufacturing technology of internationally-advanced 12’’ CMOS IC chips. It aims to build a public technical innovation platform featuring the integration of production and education, with a high degree of integration of chip design and manufacturing, to build an IC industrial chain and ecological chain with Chinese characteristics, and to provide the effective support for the technological development of the chip industry in Zhejiang, the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole China.


After strict and meticulous inspection and evaluation in many aspects, the Project Department of MCC High-Tech Engineering, the General Contractor of ZJU, awarded the honorary title of “Excellent Contractor of 2021” and “Best Safety Management Team” to the Consortium Project Department of L&K Engineering and Shanghai Electronics Engineering Design & Research Institute.


After the receipt of the Notice of Award, the Project Department of L&K Engineering immediately organized capable forces to carry out all kinds of work intensively. During the period, it carried forward the spirit of hard and down-to-earth efforts, overcame all kinds of difficulties, and completed all the construction nodes with good quality and quantity according to the construction plan. In the meanwhile, the safety management of the Project was strictly enforced to safeguard the smooth progress of construction, which effectively guaranteed the life safety of the field operators and the safety of equipment and property.


As pointed out by the Project Department of the General Contractor, the Consortium Project Department of L&K Engineering and Shanghai Electronics Engineering Design & Research Institute has made gratifying achievements in progress safety, quality, environment, civilized construction site and other aspects, successfully completed all the construction tasks in 2021, and thus won unanimous praise from all parties involved in the construction.

 
The Project Department of L&K Engineering won this honor because of the close co-operation by the Owner, the whole-process consulting management company, the General Contractor, the supervision company and relevant departments of the Company. It is the result of sweat, wisdom and hard work of all project participants.
